RV Ladders Made Simple or Simply a Bad Idea?

When I started repairing RVs over 25 years ago, RVs were campers meant for occasional or seasonal use. They were not primary homes or extreme luxury houses. So the aluminum, lightly built rear ladders made sense as they were inexpensive compared to the very expensive and heavy ladders that would be required. Well times have changed, but RV manufacturers are still using these weak and scary and yet very expensive ladders on RVs which tend to cause more problems than they solve. So until the manufacturers stop installing these, I thought showing how to repair would be useful. Thanks for watching!
