Frozen Forest | Calm Winter Wind & Frost | Cracking Trees | 3 HOURS
I made this recording in the Carpathian Mountains during deep winter conditions. I left a drop rig recording overnight, capturing calm winter wind, heavy frost, and trees and branches cracking under the weight of ice, wind and cold. In the morning, I returned to the location and continued recording, as the forest became almost completely silent, broken only by the subtle crackling of snow and frozen wood.
