Come preparare il refe per modellismo navale

EASY way to improve your ropes for rigging ship models Today I am going to show you how to create beautiful ropes for your model that fall naturally and without fluff using beeswax. I use a small electric stove to heat the wax on a metal cap. Wax is very important for this work, in fact, I use raw, natural, virgin beeswax. Be careful because on the market you can find beeswax mixed with other and they are not good for this purpose, you can find the one I used for this video in the description below. After melting the wax at 45-50C °, with the stove off, I soak a piece of paper and I rub the rope. On the web, there are literally thousands of ways to do this even with diluted white glue, but in my case, I found this procedure faster and with nicer-looking results. To remove the wax in excess, I go over with a dry piece of paper. Thanks to this procedure, the cable will have no lint and get any shape. This method can also be used on commercial cables such as the Amati ones. ⚒️ What I used: Beeswax: https://amzn.to/3AhUw9e Electric stove: https://amzn.to/3lJkVZC INDEX: 00:08 Tools 00:37 Waxing colored ropes 01:31 Removing wax clumps 01:57 Waxing natural ropes 02:18 After waxing results 02:43 Applied results #shipmodeling #modelshipbuilding #scalemodel #ropes 🎥 My gear: Olympus OMD-EM10 https://amzn.to/3fgP4vg Lens Zuiko 13-42mm https://amzn.to/379J2Z5 Tripod https://amzn.to/3xbztmV Mic https://amzn.to/3BWvY7B
