The Ormen Lange phase 3 (OLP3) subsea-to-shore project

This is the Ormen Lange field in Norway. More than 100 km from shore, 900 to 1100m below the waves, Ormen Lange has been supplying gas to Europe for more than 15 years. As the natural gas drive reduced over time, operator Shell was looking for an efficient, low-emission solution to retrieve the remaining gas from the field. So, they partnered with OneSubsea to install a subsea compression system. This would revitalize the wells to sustain production for a longer period of time and maximize the ultimate recovery from the Ormen Lange field. Take a look at this engineering feat!
