ROCKHARD's controversial Interview with DARKTHRONE (1993)

https://fullmoon-shop.org/ In March 1993, German RockHard magazine ran a two-page feature by ATROCITY frontman Alexander Krull. Having just returned from a European tour with GOREFEST and DEICIDE, Krull described a string of chaotic episodes that had unfolded along the way on this tour: in Stockholm, a bomb went off in the audience during a concert, and in Oslo the tour was allegedly targeted by a dangerous “Satanist circle” said to involve members of Norway’s Black Metal scene. Picking up on these reports, RockHard journalist Frank Albrecht interviewed DARKTHRONE’s Ted Skjellum (Nocturno Cuto) for the April 1993 issue, hoping to shed some light on the “disturbing” events unfolding in Norway. This controversial interview caused a rift between Darkthrone and RockHard magazine, leading to the band being boycotted by the magazine for years. The interview is presented here in full.
