The "Ricochet" combination is applied from both the left and right flanks. This combination is characterized by two features: 1) one of the opponent's checkers bounces off with a ricochet, 2) often the opponent is passed into the kings and the queen "rests" one move before striking the decisive blow. The combination is used in Russian, Brazilian and stock-cell checkers.
