Vacuum Tubes: Episode 6 – The Heptode/Pentagrid Converter
In this episode we take a look at the heptode, otherwise known as the pentagrid converter. It looks absolutely mental inside with a ton of grids, but it’s surprisingly simple once you have a firm grasp on the pentode. We also test it out on the breadboard and make a pretty interesting revelation about how we can potentially use this little gem in the future! Thanks for watching!
