Position refers to the coordinates of the current position of the object. Distance refers to the total amount of meters traveled, counting forwards and backwards motion. Displacement refers to the distance traveled, however, only counting the initial and final position of the object. These are important topics in order to understand how velocity and acceleration are calculated in physics.
