14 THE STORM - PIRATES OF THE DEEP

It was originally supposed to be just one song about pirates; somehow things got away from us—it looked like it might turn into three songs—but in the end, we got so immersed in it that it became a full album. We came up with a story that simply wouldn't fit into a single song—or even three—so we kept expanding the narrative. We really enjoyed the process, and that’s how this hour-long album came to be. Creating this album took nearly two months of intensive work (psst... and fun).
