BRONCO FORSCAN OBD ADAPTERS. TO SWITCH OR NOT TO SWITCH.

To flip the switch or to not, that is the question. Do you want to go the least expensive route and manually flip the forscan switch from MS (medium speed aka My Side) to HS (high speed aka Her Side) each time the scanner prompts it on the computer screen? OR do you want to go the more expensive option and get the scanner with the built in switches and save yourself the manual labor of flipping a toggle switch back and forth? It's really personal preference to be honest. They both work great. Yes, you will have to pay more attention to when you flip the switch on the manual one, but hey ya can't have everything.  Performance wise, they both work perfectly. No complaints there. There are a couple different boxes that pop up on screen with the one with the built in switch, but other than that, they perform identical. Again it is truly a matter of preference and perhaps budget. We bit the bullet and got both. Should one kick the bucket, we have the manual flip switch one to use.
