The Church is the community of believers who are called to live under Christ's rule, while the Kingdom of God refers to God's reign and authority over all creation. The church is part of the kingdom but the kingdom is wider in scope than the church. Jesus is the King of the Kingdom and he is the Lord and Savior of the Church. Christ's kingship extends to all of creation, impacting everything from personal life to social structures and cultural endeavors. He uses the church to exert his influence of all creation. He uses the church to enlist members into his kingdom. The church holds the keys to the kingdom.
