Peace be upon you This time, I'm making a pandan chiffon cake with 4 eggs. The cake is tall, soft, and fluffy. Without any leavening agents, chiffon is different from most baked cakes. Watch the video for how to make it. ■Chiffon Pandan Cake■ By Seinna77 Yellow batter ingredients: ●4 egg yolks ●65 ml thick coconut milk ●50 ml oil ●1/4 tsp salt ●80 g low/medium quality wheat flour White batter ingredients: ●4 egg whites ●90 g granulated sugar ●1 tsp pandan paste 18 x 8 cm chiffon pan Note: ~ The bowl for beating the egg whites must be clean, free of any grease or oil stains. ~ The egg whites should not be mixed with any egg yolks. ~ The egg whites are still thick, a sign they're still fresh. ~ Don't beat them until stiff, so they don't break when combined and melt when baked. ~ This recipe doesn't use cream of tartar because I'm Muslim and it's hard to find halal-certified ones in my area.
