Love is like a flower is a song by Lester Flatt. In this fiddle lesson I give the basic melody (in the key of B), and then the fiddle solo from Bobby Hicks on the Bluegrass Album Band recording. I discuss how best to play in the key of B, the "fiddle capo" technique, and the use of second position. Finally I show the melody and a solo in the key of G.
