Leevers Rich Series Cs vintage reel to reel tape recorder
This is an early Leevers RIch reel to reel tape recorder, designed for location productions such as film sets, this one is thought to be used on the film set "lawrence of arabia" and possibly others. After doing a bit of research, I descoverd an extract saying in 1962 a Leevers Rich 2 case location recorder with Sync pulse recording was used, sadly the machine had poor signal to noise ratio so sound effects such as camel hooves in soft sand where almost inaudible so background sounds such as these where added later.
