Leroy Anderson: The Master of Light (Documentary)
Leroy Anderson (1908-1975) was a titan of American "light" music. He was a veteran of both World War 2 & the Korean War. He was multilingual and well educated. He was a musical genius and orchestration wizard. He may well be one of the last orchestral minds to achieve popular success — reaching the top of the Billboard chart with "Blue Tango" in 1952. This is a mini-documentary created to inform, entertain, and heighten awareness of this incredible man. I hope you enjoy! Written, narrated, edited, and musical compositions by Dylan May.
