Finding #ammonites at Sandsend #Whitby. A long walk - big haul of jurassic fossils #fossilhunting

This week it's off to Sandsend with my friend Dave. Its a great place to find jet rock ammonites from the Falciferum zone if you are lucky and can find those elusive pyrite skinned nodules that contain eleganticeras and harpoceras and occasionally rarer fauna such as nodicoeloceras hildites and others. And it's always a good location for bifrons material such as dactylioceras and hildis which regularly fall from the cliffs and litter the beaches in between the rocks. Today I'm testing out my new dji action 3 camera which will hopefully help filming for future videos. bit of a blip in the audio so ive reuploaded.
