Goodbye Boeing 757 ✈️ Hi everyone, Today I'm taking you on a very special flight. My very last flight on the Boeing 757! 🥹 I usually never vlog my day flights because they're just not that spectacular, but this time I just had to. The 757 will be retired at the beginning of November, and this was my last day flight on it. ✈️ 📅 My flight day: Date: October 13, 2025 ➡ October 13, 2025 Check-in: 11:10 a.m. (local time FRA) 🛫 Route: Frankfurt (FRA) – Fuerteventura (FUE) – Frankfurt (FRA) ➡ Flight time: approx. 4 hours each way 🛬 Landing in Frankfurt: October 13, 10:20 p.m. (local time) I'll admit: The 757 was never really my kind of plane, but it was still a strange feeling knowing that this was really my last flight. 💛 For us as a crew, it was always a solid, reliable aircraft, and with its length of almost 55 meters, it almost feels like a small long-haul plane inside! (She used to fly long-haul flights, too.) And the best part: My last flight was on the "Oscar November," affectionately called "Willi"—the 757 with the beautiful Condor anniversary livery. Of course, I had to take a souvenir photo or two. 📸 ☀️ Arriving in Fuerteventura, there wasn't time to soak up the sun, but I still managed to capture a few beautiful views, even a thunderstorm from above. And of course, my coffee and breakfast roll before the flight were a must. 😉 ✨ Facts about the Boeing 757: The 757 was in service for over 40 years and is considered the only narrow-body aircraft capable of completing long-haul flights across the Atlantic! Also: The Boeing 757 actually has a remarkably good track record, especially compared to other commercial aircraft. An often-cited advantage: Compared to the absolute number of operating hours, the accident frequency is relatively low. According to statistics, the 757 has an accident rate of about 0.22 (accidents per million flight cycles).
