Smarter slurry application at CAFRE – GPS controlled application with real-time nutrient analysis

CAFRE use a combination of GPS guidance with autosteer to ensure slurry is accurately applied to maximise efficient crop production. The slurry nutrient composition can be monitored using a calibrated NIR sensor. The volume and composition applied is recorded and used as part of CAFRE’s crop nutrient requirement program.
