SNIPER- Curtis George's Full Interview
During the Vietnam War, snipers held one of the most isolating and psychologically demanding roles on the battlefield. Operating alone or in pairs, they became both hunter and witness—tasked with eliminating threats from distances so close through their scopes that they could see every pore, every breath, every flicker of fear or defiance on a target’s face. That kind of intimacy with death left deep and lasting scars, carving images into memory that could not be erased. Unlike those who fought amid chaos and distance, the sniper’s war was personal and deliberate, carried out in near silence. Up close and personal with sniper, Curtis George, who pulls the curtains back on the role of a sniper and the assignments he can't outlive.
