For varietal cucumbers you need bees - which we have very few of now. I live in a rural area and we do not observe as many bees as before. Collective farm apiaries have disappeared, people keep fewer and fewer bees. Now everyone grows hybrids - and thank God! Previously, there were collective farms that loaded the fields with manure from farms, calf farms, pig farms, and chicken coops. My father was a driver on a collective farm - all autumn and winter they transported peat and manure to the fields. Now there is no such thing. Now there are fertilizers. WHAT INSTEAD OF MINERAL: 🌿 Fermented grass (nitrogen) 🐔 Chicken manure (dilute, insist 10 days, 1 l per 10 l of water) 🐄 Mullein (if available) 🌿 Ash - there will be a little, but not as farmers show HOW FARMERS REALLY GROW They use powerful mineral fertilizers + humates (extracts from seaweed, worms, peat). Drip irrigation simultaneously with foliar treatment (Groin, Belgium). Then the download is high and they show us beautiful videos. But these are fertilizers, not yeast! And also: you can't do without chemicals from powdery mildew, thrips, spider mites, greenhouse whiteflies. Topaz, fungicides, insecticides - that's what they really use.
