【北穂高岳】断崖絶壁！そのやばさ大キレット以上！？悪天候時は引き返せ！初心者お断りの岩稜帯、涸沢岳～北穂高岳ルートを歩く！感動の穂高岳縦走２日目！！

Hello, this is Kuromaru♪ (Photo taken August 10, 2024) Today's mountain is Mt. Hotaka!! I spent two days and one night touring Mt. Hotaka. It's been exactly a year since I last stayed in a mountain hut. It was the biggest adventure of my summer vacation this year!✨ On this second day, we hiked the ridgeline from Mt. Karasawa to Mt. Kita-Hotaka, which some say is "even worse than the Great Kiretto!" If the weather is bad or you feel too scared, I recommend turning back without hesitation. However, if you have sufficient rock climbing skills and are blessed with good weather, this is a fantastic ridgeline where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Northern Alps' majestic nature!! At the end of the ridge, a cafe awaits at the Kita-Hotaka Hut Terrace, where you can see the expansive views of Mt. Yari and Omote-Ginza. From there, the trail continues through the steep rocky slopes typical of Mt. Hotaka until Karasawa Cirque, but from Karasawa Cirque onward, the path becomes well-maintained and easy to walk on. The walk from Yokoo to Kamikochi is particularly pleasant. However, since it's about 10 km from Yokoo to Kamikochi, be careful not to miss the last bus. If you miss the last bus, you'll have to scramble for accommodation in Kamikochi. Even if you're lucky enough to find accommodation, Kamikochi is lined with luxury accommodations. Be prepared for a significant expense. If you're only slightly delayed, calling a taxi is a last resort.
