It's a pleasure to be joined by multiple Grade 1-winning rider Danny Mullins on the eve of the 2025 Galway Festival, with the top jockey seated in the Luck On Sunday studio for his big-show debut with regular host Nick Luck. Born into one of Ireland's greatest and most successful racing families, Mullins shares his insight on his journey so far - starting with his foundation days at the Jim Bolger yard with now top Australian-based rider Martin Harley as a teenager, to his time now as a big part of the operation at Willie Mullins' all-conquering stable in Closutton. Mullins describes what makes Willie - his uncle and training great - such a unique force, his thoughts on potentially - theoretically! - being the number one rider for Mullins and his unique position in the riding ranks in being able to ride for other top trainers. Danny Mullins shares further thoughts on his cousin Patrick, the brilliantly successful amateur and Grand National-winning rider.
