It is a sonic game that has guns and a much "edgier" setting than a regular sonic game. The game developers left in many secrets, glitches, hidden details, and easter eggs that most sonic fans do not know about. This video covers all versions of the game (Playstation 2, Xbox and GameCube) but most of the footage you will see in this video is from the GameCube version while using a widescreen mod.
