Here it is. One of the last Boeing 747-200 classic which was based in Europe. 4X-ICO was operating the last flight for its operator CAL - Cargo Airlines from Liege to Mojave, via New York JFK. Mojave is a famous airplane boneyard and there it will be scrapped. The Boeing 747-200 is becoming very rare since the new version of the Boeing 747, the B747-8F is on the market. It` s way more fuel efficient and airlines are able to fly more economical. CAL replaced both Boeing 747-200 (4X-ICO and 4X-ICM) with more modern Boeing 747-400s (4X-ICA and 4X-ICB). The Boeing 747 in the video had a very long life. It was delivered to Lufthansa Cargo in 1985.
