In this guided practice, you’ll experience: Belly breathing to regulate the nervous system Dropping into the body and describing sensations safely Deepening connection with pain or symptoms without fear Safe self-talk to calm the brain Visualization of a sensitized pain network gently desensitizing Noticing internal shifts and savoring pleasant sensations Chronic pain and illness are often maintained by a sensitized nervous system, not a damaged body.
