Episode 4: Aruba, One Happy Island! Palm Beach. Arubus. Wind. The first port of our 8-day Southern Caribbean cruise is the "One Happy Island" of Aruba! After disembarking Carnival Horizon, we walked to Aruba's Arubus bus station. We bought retour cards and rode the Arubus to Palm Beach for an awesome and beautiful beach day. The water was warm and aqua blue, the food and drinks were tasty, and the weather was hot and the wind did not hold back! Arubus is Aruba's public bus system and it makes it so easy to get around the island! We highly recommend this transportation option, especially if you're traveling with children who need car seats (and you don't want to lug them around the island).
