A celebration of Paul, his work and gun culture as a whole. CAUTION: May contain attempts of humor. My sincere condolences to his brother Roy and the rest of his family and crew. A lot of the shots sailed right over the meat target. Most of my pistols are sighted in at 25 meters (~28 yards), and the rifles at 100 meters (~111 yards), yet I was shooting from only 10 meters (~11 yards) and forgot to aim low. At the same time I tried to avoid aiming too low, since it's not my shooting range and I didn't want to screw up the "furniture" at the bottom of the bullet stop. You see me adjusting my grip a lot, because it's a very damp (former) wine cellar. The guns were already laid out for about an hour before shooting, so all the grips were slightly wet. And yes, the 12 gauge shots were "squibs". It was the first time I tried that particular ammunition with that shotgun, and the choked barrels (modified and improved modified) really don't like it.
