Part #12 - Connecting Your Receiver to Your iNav Flight Controller (SBUS & PPM, V1 & V2 Boards)
Howdy, in this part of the series on iNav you'll learn how to connect you SBUS or PPM receiver to your Omnibus F4 V1 or V2 flight controller board and how to ensure that the movements are correct. The parts used are below, Press SHOW MORE to see them, Matt To confirm the movements expected are as follows: Throttle stick push away - increased value Yaw (Rudder) stick right - increased value Pitch (Elevator) stick push away - increased value Roll (Ailerons) stick right - increased value The center stick values should rest on 1500 (or as close as possible) and go from 1000 to 2000. The movements shown in this video are also documented in the iNav wiki here: https://github.com/iNavFlight/inav/wi... NEO-M8N GPS Module ------------- The GPS units shown in this episode are these ones https://goo.gl/7Z3gh1 I've personally had great success with them, hence why I am suggesting them to you. F4 Flight Controller (V2 with OSD) ------------- This is the board that is being discussed in this episode https://goo.gl/ONfVAY This is the V2 board that has a current sensor onboard so you're able to see the amount of current being used and the pack voltage more easily. F4 Flight Controller (V1 with OSD) ------------- The other board shown is this one https://goo.gl/ONfVAY and also has a OSD built in. If you're in any doubt which is easier, this one is the easier one to use & setup because it has straight pin connectors and no requirement to use the side JST SH connector for the GPS unit.
