Furkapass y Grimselpass en bici

Round-trip route departing from Innertkirchen, climbing the Grimsel Pass, Furka Pass, and returning via the Grimsel Pass. The Grimsel Pass from Innertkirchen is 27 km at an average gradient of 5.8%. It's not a pass with steep slopes, but it is a busy mountain pass. Along the route, there are several roads that skirt the most dangerous tunnels. The beauty of the pass is the last 4 km, coinciding with the passage through the various reservoirs until reaching the top. The descent from the Grimsel Pass to Gletsch is a marvel, a road with multiple hairpin bends and views of the entire ascent road to the Furka Pass. The climb to the top is beautiful, where we can appreciate each of the hairpin bends we have left to travel, passing through the famous curve (one of the most photographed in the world), the Hotel Belvedere! The sensation is unique when you circle the real image you've seen so many times in photos! Since the "most beautiful" part, with the most scenic views, is the last 4 km to the top of Grimsel, we recommend starting both passes from Gletsh after the experience. Climb Grimsel, descend the pass (the views of the Furka are spectacular!), and once at the bottom, ascend the Furka and return to the starting point, Gletsh. This way, we avoid 23 km of unnecessary risk (starting from where we started this route, Innertkirchen), as the road is very busy and not particularly worth the effort. We hope you enjoy the video and its images; the area is idyllic.
