Lower the vacuum onto it's back (cable side) and find the head release mechanism on the bottom (red lever) Pull the red lever down and it should click as it releases the cleaning head. Slide the head away from the vacuum or downwards away from the cleaner. With the head removed you can locate the brush bar release button and press the button in whilst at the same time rotating the end cap away from the head, this should release the end cap and allow the brush bar to be completely removed for cleaning.
