If you get one without the frame, you'll need to use a thin knife to separate the frame from the digitizer and then glue the new one back in. I found it would not switch on until I plugged it into a pc for a few seconds. To replace a damaged LCD (AMOLED) or Digitizer you'll need: T5 or T4(both used in production) star type screwdriver.
