This ONE SPOT Absolutely Saved Me! - Grand Lake Day 3

Day 3 on Grand Lake was an absolute roller coaster. I started the morning expecting my offshore fish to be grouped up and ready to go, but they had other plans. To make matters worse, I lost a bass over 6 pounds early in the day that would’ve been a huge boost. Add in nonstop pleasure boat traffic beating up the lake, and things were looking pretty bleak. Going into the final period, I was well outside the cut and needed something special to happen. Thankfully, it did. I stumbled onto one of the biggest schools of bass I’ve ever found in competition, and for the next 20 minutes it felt like every cast had another giant on the end of my line. I caught over 40 pounds in that short stretch, completely changing the outcome of my tournament. That’s what makes Major League Fishing so incredible.
