Comala ⎮ El Pueblo Blanco de América [KOR/ESP]

I left Guadalajara and Colima was my first destination on the trip. Thanks to a friend from Colima, I was able to explore the city, try marquesitas (a type of crepe), paletas (popsicles), and even visit the only club in town. There weren't many Asians; in fact, there was only one Chinese girl and me. Because of this, people looked at us curiously, but in the end, everything flowed very naturally. As if we already knew each other, we shared drinks and had a very fun night in Colima. Afterward, almost without planning it, I passed through Comala. I heard it called "the white town of America," and it piqued my curiosity. I arrived at sunset, but I was eager to see what it looked like in the daylight, so I decided to stay two nights. I walked around the town, visited local restaurants and bakeries, and got to know a little more of the essence of Comala. I set off on my trip without knowing this place existed, and ended up staying there. That's the charm of traveling without plans: letting the moment and your mood decide the way.
