How to Test GM 3800 Fuel Regulator, Injectors, & Coil Packs (Engine Misfire P0300 Running Rich)

In this video we show how to test the fuel pressure regulator, injectors, fuel pump, exhaust backpressure, and coil packs on a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix that has a glowing red hot catalytic converter. Although some shops will just replace the converter because its hot that doesn't necessarily mean the converter is bad as the engine could be running rich pouring fuel into the exhaust which could also make the converter red hot. The only way to confirm which route to go is first check the backpressure on the exhaust, fuel pressure, and spark which we very easily show how to test each today!
