Ford Duratec 2.0L HE Ti-VCT Engine - Tear Down - Part 3

This is my third and final video on the tear down of the Ford Duratec 2.0L HE Ti-VCT Engine. In this video I get into the bottom end of the engine. The oil pan is removed. The oil pump and oil pump pick up is also removed while explaining the purpose of the oil pump and going over a few interesting facts concerning the oil pump and oil pick up. I also remove the flex plate or flywheel then removing the rear main seal and explaining a few details of the rear main seal. After that the tear down process stops as the crankshaft is locked up due to rust build up in the cylinders. I do, however, go over a few brief points concerning the crankshaft and the remaining components inside the crank case.
