'Essa coisa de esquerda e direita ameaça a democracia', diz deputada

Political polarization, outdated discussions, agendas with little practical effect and a lot of ideological smoke. These characteristics were used to describe the education sector in the first 100 days of the Bolsonaro government, in a chat during the VEJA EXAME 100 Days of Government Forum, this Monday, the 15th. The debate mediated by columnist Dora Kramer, from Veja magazine, had the participation of activist and federal deputy, Tabata Amaral, the director of the Center for Excellence and Innovation in Educational Policies (CEIPE) at FGV, Claudia Costin, and the executive president and co-founder of Todos Pela Educação, Priscila Cruz. For Tabata, the growing political polarization has a high cost for education and threatens Brazilian democracy. “This left and right thing is very bad for Brazil not only because it threatens democracy, but because it steals precious time from discussions that really matter”, said the federal deputy.
