Elvira makes traditional Sardinian bread called "pane carasau" | Pasta Grannies

Discover a traditional flatbread from Sardinia called 'pane carasau' or 'carta di music' in Italian. Elvira is one of the few women who still make it in the traditional way. She shares her recipe: For the dough tiny pinch of fresh yeast about 250ml tepid water 500g semolata flour (finely ground durum wheat flour) Let it rest for at least two hours.
