Last week, we completed the hardscape installation in our tank and left it filled with water for a week. This week, we are planting. This video contains my personal experiences in the planted aquarium hobby, which I do as an amateur, and I make no claims of expertise. Due to the numerous variables involved, such as water temperature, ambient temperature, use of tap water, exposure of the aquarium to direct sunlight, water change intervals, filtration quality and flow rate, active soil used, the general form of the planted plants, and the type of sand or rock used, it is normal for many different situations to develop independently in planted aquariums.
