SQL Mesh as a DataOps Framework
We had the privilege of hosting Tobias (Toby) Mao & Ryan Eakman as part of our Data Heroes Community. @Tobias (Toby) Mao & the team are building an an open source project #SQLMESH which serves as a Dataops layer. During the session @Tobias (Toby) Mao did share his perspective on the data landscape and the challenges they are addressing here is a summary of what I took away form the session 👓 SQL Mesh provides an IDE that allows you to work through SQL & Python 👓 Built in Lineage( I found this exciting) so as you query your data through their interface they would be able to build the lineage for you helping you determine the data flow & Impact seamlessly 👓 Automatic DAG generation and dependency management 👓 Virtual Data Mart sounded pretty interesting as a feature as it helps you cut down your developmental costs Curious about catching up on the latest in data management space?
