Planting and watering new lithops (about pots, potting mix and how to water)

This is a video about planting my new lithops. I am trying a new approach. It is fun to do, but not very practical. I have trimmed the roots of the lithops, the link below shows how I prepare the lithops before planting.    • Lithops unboxing & root trimming   I am using mesh pot, also called air pruning pot. I use white instead of black pot, so that I can put the plant in both direct sunlight and artificial light. The substrate is 60% pumice ( and mixture of different types of gravel) and 40% peat, the peat ratio is a bit high because water evaporates quickly with mesh pot. I am using the same type of pot and potting mix for my succulents. It is safer to water the plants 2 days later, just wet the bottom part of the pot by dipping the pot in a tray of water.
