Unboxing 2017 Buick Enclave - The First Popular Buick In Years

For our latest unboxing review we bring to you the 2017 Buick Enclave, a three-row crossover that debuted back in 2008 and only now is it entering its final model. But don't worry, a second generation Enclave is right around the corner and it'll be very interesting to see whether it'll be as successful as this one. After all, Buick has experienced great success with this premium crossover while only giving it a facelift in 2013. Powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, power goes to all four wheels (a $2,000 option) through a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy isn't the greatest, but considering this Enclave's age, it's acceptable. But perhaps the Enclave's two best traits are its design inside and out as well as its usable third-row seat. Remember, the Enclave is a corporate cousin to the previous generation Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia, both of which now ride on new platforms. The Enclave was the first modern Buick that, low and behold, became popular. It also became trendy, especially for suburban soccer moms. Many customers were first time Buick buyers. Our Enclave tester was the fully equipped Premium trim, with the aforementioned AWD as well as the $2,095 Experience Buick Package, which adds a power moonroof, 20-inch all-season tires with ultra-bright-machined aluminum wheels, and even a trailer hitch. Speaking of which, the Enclave has a towing capacity of 4,500 pounds. Nice. Despite the fact this Enclave is seven years old, it still looks good inside and out and, because the redesign is coming up, now is a great time for bargains. Enjoy the review!
