In today’s video, we’re exploring the beautiful John Day area in Oregon. Our original plan was to camp at Priest Hole—a longtime favorite where you used to be able to camp right along the river. But things have changed since our last visit. The area is currently undergoing some dispersed camping updates, so we set out to see what other adventures the region had in store. That unexpected twist led us to Burnt Ranch Recreation Area—and it did not disappoint. As you’ll see, the road in is no joke. A lifted 4x4 is pretty much essential, but don’t worry—Dirty Dolly was more than up to the challenge.
