ELIMINATING FAULTS IN THE MOTORCYCLE EXAM a) Starting the test without having the helmet properly adjusted to the head or without a visor or protective glasses. b) Failing to follow the pre-established route. c) Knocking over one or more marking cones. d) Falling off the vehicle during the test. e) Not maintaining balance on the board, stepping off it sideways. f) Missing the mandatory stop. g) Placing your foot(s) on the ground while the vehicle is moving. h) Causing an accident during the test. i) Committing any other serious traffic violation. SERIOUS OFFENCES (THREE POINTS) a) Failing to place one foot on the ground and the other on the brake when stopping the vehicle. b) Invading any lane during the course. c) Signaling incorrectly or failing to do so. d) Driving the course with the headlights off. e) Committing any other serious traffic violation. MEDIUM OFFENCES (TWO POINTS) a) Using equipment incorrectly. b) Engaging or using inappropriate gears during the course. c) Failing to retract the kick-start pedal or vehicle stand before starting the course. d) Stopping the engine without just cause after the test has started. e) Driving the vehicle during the test without holding the handlebars with both hands, except when indicating maneuvers. f) Committing any other traffic violation of a moderate nature. MINOR OFFENCES (ONE POINT) a) Starting the engine when it is already in gear. b) Driving the vehicle causing it to move irregularly without justification. c) Adjusting the rearview mirrors during the test. d) Committing any other traffic violation of a minor nature. #tips #motorcycle #riding
