Step 1. With Word open, go to the Insert / Text Box / Simple Text Box menu. Step 2. Drag the text box to the top left corner of your document and resize it in the Word properties bar. The size of a business card is 9 x 5 centimeters. Step 3. Click on the default text in the text box and type the information you want on your business card. Format your text as you prefer, use centering to better position your text, bold what's important, change the fonts to best fit your card's theme, increase or decrease the line spacing, and so on... Step 4. Now it's time to format the colors and images on your business card. Select your card's frame and go to the top menu where it says Drawing Tools - Format. In Shape Fill, you can change the color of your card. You can choose a solid color, a gradient color, or even an image as a texture.
