Following a series of heavy rainfalls, a massive amount of water accumulated in the surrounding area, creating a real threat of flooding—especially for the higher-situated villages. It was a very wet day in the field, and working in a light drizzle, I cleared several blockages, but this episode focuses on one exceptionally interesting intervention. The beaver dam here was completely hidden under the surface of the dammed water! Watch from the windshield camera perspective (my "Cabin View" format) as I carefully operate the bucket in the murky current to release the trapped flow step by step.
