Historic 8th Muharram Procession from Guru Bazar Srinagar to Imam Bara Dalgate | آٹھویں محرم کا جلوس

The historic 8th Muharram procession is taken out in Srinagar once again today, with thousands of mourners participating in it. The procession started from Guru Bazar and will culminate at Imam Bara Dalgate, Srinagar. The mourners are reciting Nohas and paying heartfelt tributes to the martyrs of Karbala. The procession is being held peacefully, following the lifting of the ban on this historic procession by the LG administration in 2023. The administration has made elaborate arrangements for the mourners, with adequate security measures put in place. The administration, police, CRPF, and local committees have set up Sabeels along the route, providing food and refreshments to the mourners.
