We went on a 3-day/2-night trip to Shimane and Tottori! On Day 1, we explored some of the area’s most famous attractions: Adachi Museum of Art, home to Japan’s No.1 garden and masterpieces by Yokoyama Taikan. A fresh seafood lunch at Yamayoshi-tei in Hiezu Village, Tottori. A stop at Kotobuki Castle (Okashi-no-Kotobuki), a unique castle-shaped sweets shop. The Shoji Ueda Museum of Photography, surrounded by beautiful countryside views. The iconic Eshima Ohashi Bridge, also known as “Betabumi-zaka.” Mizuki Shigeru Road in Sakaiminato, dedicated to the world of “GeGeGe no Kitaro” and yokai characters. Dinner in Matsue, with delicious sea bream dishes such as Tai-meshi and Tai-chazuke. At the end of the video, we also share our Day 1 travel expenses.
