Vlore Albania Really Surprised Me! Vlore is an Albanian City known as a beach holiday destination and Vlore is also a popular expat and retirement destination. I’ve been traveling around Albania and Vlore has some much to offer. The Vlore beaches are beautiful and you can stroll along the Vlorë Lungomare. There are free public beaches in Vlore or you can rent a beach lounge one of Vlore’s many beach clubs. From Vlore you can visit the Zvernac Monastery at the Narte Delta Protected Area and learn about the protests taking place in Albania over the flamingoes at the proposed development of the nearby Sazan Island. Vlore Albania is a safe and beautiful place to visit. Vlore is also close to the Apollonia Archeological Park.
