🇳🇮 Heroes and Martyrs of La Rampla: 47th Anniversary of the Heroic Deed in Siuna Nicaragua #News NORTH CARIBBEAN COAST – NICARAGUA / With a massive caravan and a moving tribute, families, authorities, and the Caribbean population commemorated the Heroes and Martyrs of La Rampla this Saturday, June 6, in the municipality of Siuna in the North Caribbean region of Nicaragua, remembering the sacrifice of the young people who were murdered by Somoza's criminal National Guard in 1979. The day culminated at the monument erected in honor of the fallen heroes, where floral offerings were placed in memory of the 56 young people who lost their lives in one of the most painful episodes of the struggle against the Somoza dictatorship.
