Day Trip to Minobu - Yuru Camp Hotspot

Solo day trip back in March 2026, in the town of Minobu. This is a hotspot for the anime Yuru Camp, which was the anime that actually got me into solo camping. Minobu also has other hotspots such as ‘The Stairway of Enlightenment’ and ‘Kuon-ji Temple’ which is worth visiting. I really enjoyed myself and didn’t expect to be so overwhelmed with all the Yuru Camp goods that they sold in the souvenir shop. I definitely would love to come here again and next time take the ropeway to the top of Mt. Minobu and possibly try out a trekking trail. I would recommend to try the famous ‘Minobu manju’. Also for those who would like to visit the cozy cafe, the cafe is called ‘Onrin’. If you are a Yuru Camp, I hope one day you'll be able to visit this place! #yurucamp #minobu #daytrip #japan #ゆるキャン
